With over 10 years of experience in planning and running sports leagues, tournaments and events, Casco Bay Sports is the expert in handling sports outings in the Greater Portland Area.
Casco Bay Sports will work to create & develop the right league or event for your company. The outing incorporates an atmosphere of friendly competition that will be sure to engage the team!
Custom Sports Leagues
Is employee wellness important to you? Casco Bay Sports can organize and run an "in house" corporate sports league for your company! We'll start with determing the best sports options, convenient facilities to use, and proper league format. Then our experienced staff customizes a schedule, hires referees or league managers, and keeps standings or statistics online for players to reference. Leagues range from 6 to 9 weeks in length.
One Day Special Events
Sports Tournaments & Field Days make for a memorable private event. Whether it be a corporate outing, family reunion, or gathering of friends, Casco Bay Sports can plan it for you. We can secure the venue, develop a custom sports itinerary, and even set up a post event bar or restaurant location.
Casco Bay Sports' custom Human Foosball Arena is a unique group play experience - let us reserve a facility for your group or bring it to you!

Pat Hackleman, Managing Director
Pat graduated from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a degree in Sport Management. He founded Casco Bay Sports in 2008 to bring alternative recreational opportunities to residents of Southern Maine. Past experiences include running sports leagues in Boston along with management of cycling events and guiding tours of the Southwest at Escape Adventures in Las Vegas, NV. In his spare time Pat enjoys mountain biking and attempting to not slice his drives.
Dan Finnie, Sports Director
Orignially from Monson, MA Dan is an avid baseball player, a team sports enthusiast, and great all around athlete. Dan graduated with a degree in Journalism from UMass Amherst. He spent several years working out west in bike shops and at ski resorts before relocating to the Portland area. His knowledge of sports keeps everyone on their toes. You can find Dan measuring up his drives on the course or frequenting the local cross fit gym.
Christian Rodriguez, Program Director
Christian hails to us from the suburbs of New York City and transplanted to Southern Maine via UMaine Orono. When he's not entertaining you at sports leagues you can find Christian surfing the waves at Higgins Beach, practicing his fairway irons, or cruising the slopes in the Winter.

Brad Swanson, League Manager
More recognized by his bowling handle "Magic, Brad has been a staple in the coed sports league scene in Portland for over ten years! You can find him managing our Bowling & Volleyball leagues several nights a week. When not at the bowling alley, you can find him enjoying Portland's vibrant music scene, or rooting for the Nebraska football team.

Soccer Referee
Openings available for soccer referees in our popular coed soccer program. Training available. Leagues play on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday nights.
Rate: $30/game base. Contact
Softball Umpires
We currently have Spring, Summer, Fall, & Winter availability for softball umpires. Our coed leagues use close variations of USA Softball rules and candidates must have USA Softball certification to be eligible for games.

Flag Football Referee
Referee in our popular coed Flag Football Program. Training available. Leagues play on Sunday mornings, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings.

Experienced Basketball Referees needed to assist with our Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday Leagues.
Rate: $35/game base. Contact
Internship Programs
Internships available assisting with scheduling & execution of sports leagues, special event management, sports journalism, and social media promotion.
Spring, Summer, Fall, & Winter Seasonal Internship applications accepted. Positions can be catered to focus of the student in regards to length, credit hours, and industry interest.
